We had a young relative visiting who wanted to visit a nearby amusement park and we agreed to take her when we were planning the trip, 3 weeks prior to her arrival. We had no idea that it would end up being the hottest day of the year - hot, hot, hot! We have used other brands of cooling towels but generally do not fool with taking them anywhere as they are bulky and stiff when they dry. I had several brand new, still in the package Arctic Cool Instant Cooling Towels so I tossed those in the back pack, hoping that the weatherman was wrong and it would not be quite that hot that day and that these small towels would bring some relief, if needed and if I could talk anyone into using it. After one or two minutes, no longer than that, I was amazed at the relief I was beginning to feel said "WOW! This little towel is doing a great big job at making me feel cooler!" to my husband and young relative. My husband sorta shrugged but our young relative was curious and wanted to feel it, becoming excited when she felt how cool the towel was, asking me if I had dunked it in ice water to get it so cool, how did it work, etc. I asked her if she'd like to use one and she promptly accepted the offer and finally convinced my husband to try one after chattering about how cool her towel was, how cool her neck and face were after wearing the towel…
